Do you want simple financial solutions that will save you time and money? Are you looking for fun activities that will help you teach your children about money?
Today’s mission (should you choose to accept it) is to preform a balancing act.
This mission is a simple one, that many of us tend to avoid. It’s time to balance your checkbook. Trust me, I know how easy it is to get things out of balance, especially if you regularly use your debit card. So, to give some support to your balancing act, start by visiting you bank online. Print a copy of your recent transactions, and work from that. Estimate the amounts of anything not showing up.
Set a timer for 15 minutes and have a go at it. It doesn’t have to be perfect.
Are you looking for low cost, fun family activities? Check out this section! We also feature coverage of the latest news, sales, steals, and deals around the web.
The bright side of high food prices is that they are forcing us to reevaluate what we need versus what we want or what we buy out of habit. If we make the right kinds of changes to save money on food, a magical thing starts to happen. The food can actually get healthier, and the load of throwaway packaging going to the dump gets smaller.
One of the most elegant of these changes has to do with what your family drinks.
