Each month we feature a book review by our resident Teen Expert Rebecca Brown. This month it’s Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber. If you’ve read this book, or would like to ask Rebecca about it you can leave a comment for her below, and she will answer it for you.

As everyone knows it’s getting close to Halloween so I thought I would do my review on a book pertaining to Halloween. The book Vampire Kisses is about a girl named Raven and everyone around her thinks she’s very strange.

It all started when she was going into kindergarten her teacher was asking everyone what they wanted to be when they grew up and she got to Raven and she said “I want to be a vampire.”

Raven was very interested in vampires and read Anne Rice novels often. One day her and her family went on vacation to New Orleans and she got to meet Anne Rice.

Also in the book there is a creepy old mansion which is claimed to be haunted but no one really knows for sure., and on Raven’s 16th birthday a family that claimed to be vampire’s moved in the old mansion on top of Benson Hill.

Of course Raven was very excited after all this the least boring thing that has ever happened in Dullsville.

I’m not going to spoil the surprise ending so that’s all I’m going to tell if anyone wants to know what happens after that they have to go read the book to find out.

Well bye for now hope to read comments and questions soon.
